How to choose the perfect career

1. Think about your dream career

To choose a right career for yourself, you have to think about what you would want to do if you didn’t have to work (laying on a couch and watching Netflix is not an option). Also take in account your hobbies, too. For example; if you like drawing and designing things you can become a graphic designer or a stylist. If playing sports is your thing then you can become a gym teacher or become a professional athlete. What did you enjoy in school? If you enjoyed being in math class (not because you liked hanging out with your friend), then you might want to go into an area where it involves math skills & strategies.

2. Analyze your strengths and weaknesses

What skills do you take precedence? Is fixing things what your good at and do you like to do that, then you will want to go in that direction. Contemplate your communal skills, for example; if you are good at comforting people, and helping them cope with their problems. Then you will want to think about becoming a therapist. Not to mention, it’s ok, to not know your strengths or some of your weaknesses. But I would suggest asking a parent/teachers to help you through making the right decision for your life.

3. Assent to your present state

First of all, look at your financial situation. Some careers require a lot of money, which you may or may not have. But if you work hard enough you can get into scholarships, grants, apprenticeship programs. This will help you pay for a lot of the requirements; you will probably face while on your trip to becoming a successful person. You should also take into account on how much education you have and will need.

4. Bear in advisement your future

Recognize the careers that will be easy and hard for YOU to move toward. Will you be comfortable doing all the work needed to become that person? Also how stable is your future going to be like that job? Will you be getting a steady pay, to provide for you family?
